At Pembroke we work together with our clients to develop an individual program that we feel best meets each horse and their rider’s needs and goals. Lessons, both private and groups of no more than 4 riders, are offered, from the basic to the more advanced competitive rider. Through her junior and college career Kelsey has had the opportunity to ride with and work for some of the top trainers in the equine industry and earning her bachelor degree in Equine and Business based majors from Centenary University. She has extensive intercollegiate horse show experience both in the saddle and behind the scenes at the, Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) and American National Riding Commission (ANRC). Kelsey has competed at Local, Regional and National Shows throughout the East Coast during her junior and professional careers.
Kelsey had a successful junior career locally, winning the Maryland Medal Finals and the Josey Mohler Equitation Finals with Chris Hurlbert-Gemmill and Frank Madden. Throughout the rest of her junior years, Kelsey rode under Frank Madden finishing in the Top 25 at USEF Medal Finals, earning her Bronze and Silver medal for the Platinum Performance/ USEF Show Jumping Talent Search, along with ranked in the Top 45 on the Bates Equitation Ranking List.
After her junior years were over, Kelsey attended Centenary University where she helped them win multiple national championships on both the IHSA and ANRC teams.
As she has moved onto her professionals years, Kelsey has been working and training with Chad Keenum, Sandy Ferrell, Andre Dignelli, Michael Dowling, Scott Stewart and Ken Berkley as well as Thilo Krapf in Germany. Recently returning to Southern Pennsylvania, Kelsey is looking forward to bringing her knowledge back to the area.
